Agape Youth & Family Center and MODA Partner on Extreme Bedroom Makeover

For the sixth consecutive year, MODA Floors & Interiors partnered with Agape Youth & Family Center, a non-profit organization, on their "Extreme Bedroom Makeover" project. MODA team members remodeled a bedroom for three children in the Bolton Road community in Northwest Atlanta during the one-day event. Accessories were selected based on the children's preferences and interests.

Rosing Paint Center donated paint and supplies, and Rooms To Go provided beds. Both companies have participated in the bedroom makeover project since its birth in 2010. In addition to MODA, the Arby's Foundation, the National Charity League/Buckhead and the Junior League of Atlanta participated this year. "Thanks to our wonderful participating teams, we were able to give a whole new outlook on life to 11 kids. Many of them now have their own bed for the first time," said Neka Harris, Agape's event coordinator.

"Our team looks forward each year to participating in this important community service activity," said Dean Howell, president of MODA Floors & Interiors, a flooring and window coverings resource. "The children are always appreciative of their new spaces.

" The Agape Youth & Family Center empowers and supports underserved families within its community to discover and embrace their full potential by providing academic support and family services that focus on character development, academic achievement, reading proficiency by third grade, successful high school graduation and post-graduation placement.
